Description

What you are going to hear:  The Gap Band and the magnificent Wilson Brothers with their 1982 studio album, "Gap Band IV," which topped the Soul album charts and featured the runaway hit "You Dropped a Bomb on Me."  Released by Total Experience Records (seriously, do you have a Total Experience disc in your collection yet), the track list is deep.  In fact, practically every song on the album received airplay at the time.

Condition:   VG+ all around.  The album has been cleaned and played through on both sides.  No skips or extraneous surface noise detected.  It looks great and sounds great, too.

The cover is a gatefold, and how can you not love the picture of the Wilson Brothers on the front.  The upper left corner has a little wear spot, but that's the worst of it.  You don't generally get 43-year-old record jackets this clean.  

The original inner sleeve is a bonus if you consider the condition (great) and the thorough listing of the performers and lyrics for each track, not to mention the address for the Gap Band Fan Club.  
This one is a bit of a rare find, and a beautiful copy, so it is priced accordingly, but fairly.
