Description
Genesis is the debut album by the British band The Gods. VERY RARE Stereo Issue SCX 6286
The LP was recorded in 1968 and released that same year by EMI / Columbia Records) in the UK. Cat Number :SCX 6286
CONDITION:
VINYL: VG+ Stereo Issue SCX 6286. Lots of surface scuffs and marks. No deep scratches. Some Auditable Noise when played through.
LABEL: Black and Silver EMI / Columbia Records. Matrix SIDE 1 : YAX.3676-1 SIDE 2 : YAX.3677-1
COVER: G+ It has lots of edge wear and corner bumps. A tear in the front cover at the opening edge (See pics.) 1 inch seem split at the bottom right. Yellowed reverse and dirty marks here and there and small biro name!
INNER SLEEVE: G Seem split and creasing
Overall this is a an extremely rare album, but this example is a collection filler until a better copy come along! If your looking for a mint example then this one is not for you!
Progressive rock, psychedelic rock
When it came out in 1968, the LP consisted of 10 tracks. Sleeve artwork was designed by Hipgnosis.
