A little while ago, I got a call from an old friend who'd been a part of the Sydney inner city punk/indie scene from about 1977-84 (his older brother was in a great Detroit-style garage-punk band at the time)...anyway he was clearing house and wanted to get rid of his record collection. So I bought it all. He's a cool guy who'd had a passion for the whole tribal Aussie punk/indie/Detroit-inspired/Radio Birdman thing, plus the post-punk/synth/'little bands'/M Squared scene too and had bought a lot of classics at the time...plus other random goodies of minimal rarity but high on quality - it's great stuff...I remember he used to shop at Phantom a lot, a few even have old Phantom price stickers on them still - I left them on. Some were second copies he bought at the time, which were stored away and NEVER played! 

Anyway, this record below is one of that collection:

LABEL:          Music Station (indie label owned by a Melbourne night club which released three split 7"s by bands gigging there, which were given away on the night they played - the label was managed by Jex, lead singer of the Olympic Sideburns, who worked at the club - the intention was to release a whole slew of such singles but it all petered out within a couple of months) .
CATALOGUE #:  MS-002 . 
DATE OF RELEASE:  August 1986 .
PRESSED IN:    AUSTRALIA .

ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING?:    Yes, it is!...comes in wrap-around paper pic sleeve...still in its original oversized plastic bag (the tops were folded over and stuck down with clear tape)... .

CONDITION:

COVER: ( EX )...

VINYL: ( VG )...has quite a few scuffs, but they are scuffs, NOT scratches, and it plays very well, with some crackling admittedly...but the music is way louder...

LABELS: (Side One: MINT / Side Two: MINT )...
