Description

BPG62193 - this is a first commercial pressing on the UK Columbia label. Matrix 4A-1/3B-1. Vinyl weight - 160grams. Textured labels '33'. The record comes housed in its original cover. Original inner not present.
Vinyl (Ex+) It's very difficult to find vintage records that rate this highly. I certainly don't come across many, but this example is exceptional. The record in shiny like new and someone has taken great care of it down the years. Under close inspection I can't see anything more than one ultra fine mark. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Run-ins and inbetweens are silent and the audio is crystal clear practically unhindered by interference at all. I think I only detected a slight low-level crackle on one of the run ins and very little else. This album is one of the greats and really needs the clarity of a great copy to do it justice.
Cover (Ex+) Again, how do covers this old still remain in this condition? The front is nice and shiny with one or two very light creases. The rear is almost totally free from ageing and all the flipbacks are intact - as is the spine. A really outstanding copy of an original cover.

Please check out my other LP's.......
