The Five Keys "On The Town" 1957
VERY RARE Score Records, 4003, Mono
First, be on the lookout this week for Sweet Melissa Records' stunning collection of classic blues and jazz on 10" 78 rpm vinyl, as well as our new listings of 33 1/3's! Their second full-length album, released by defunct label Score Records, the Five Keys' "On The Town" marked the group's transition to the Capitol label, on which their noted late-fifties popularity was primarily built.Dead wax: matrix numbers, "12" (triangle) 189/190", and an inscribed "Score" with catalog numbers on both sides. Maroon label with classic logo. Vinyl is in VG to NM condition; there are hardly any surface markings or scratches on the vinyl. Expect to hear a little bit of surface noise on playback. The cover is in excellent condition, with little to no wear along the outside edges. All cover graphics appear like new. This is an original pressing of an early definitive Five Keys' record, a "highly musical set"! WE HAVE MORE!
