Up for auction is this copy of "The 5 Royales Sing For You” by The 5 Royales (King 616). It is an original pressing from 1959 with the black 2 inch King label and is in very good (VG) condition. The jacket has extremely light, almost unnoticeable ring wear on the front and back. There is a small 2 inch seam split on the top right corner. There is a small price sticker on the top left corner of the back of the jacket. Otherwise, there are no punch holes, cut outs, or corner cuts. There is no writing and there are no stamps on the front or back of the jacket (see photos). I give the jacket a strong VG grade; it looks great. The records are clean with very few small marks and scratches that do not affect play in any major way; it plays throughout with no sticks or skips. There is static throughout and a few light ticks but nothing that detracts from the overall sound quality. I give side A and side B both a VG grade. The labels are in very good plus (VG+) condition with no writing, tears, or discoloration, just a few light spindlemarks and minor signs of aging (see photos). This is a very rare genuine first-pressing, not a bootleg or re-issue.
