The fate O’ Charlie, Archie Fisher & Barbara Dickson, original white label UK 1969 LP.

LER 3002, original first issue UK 1969, ‘Trailer’ white record labels.

A UK stereo album in original condition, featuring:

1. The fate O’ Charlie, songs of the Jacobite rebellions, featuring Archie Fisher, John Mackinnon and a very early appearance of Barbara Dickson,

2. original first issue UK 1969 sleeve, with a factory period, ‘pinched’ top and bottom spine,

3. more unusual original first issue UK 1969 white, ‘Trailer’ record labels, as most of these albums were printed with either red or yellow record labels.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent++ condition. The spine is in excellent condition and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. The two opening edges are in excellent++ condition and have remained clean and sharp. There are NO tears, splits, pen writing, stains, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent condition and is the original period plain white, UK ‘Patent No 1072 844’ inner sleeve. There are NO tears, splits, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve.

THE RECORD: each side is in MINT condition (when viewed under normal daylight conditions). The record is made of the original period 1960s ‘thick, heavy’ vinyl. It has remained just like new, very dark and glossy.

The matrix are: LER 3002 A1 and LER 3002 B1,

The mother / stampers are: ‘A ? 3’ and ‘A ? 2’,

THE AUDIO: each side plays near MINT with excellent quiet grooves. The record plays with a full loud, clear powerful period stereo sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.

THE LABELS: each record label is in excellent++ condition. Each label is free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
