The album track great. The vinyl is in very good condition with minor surface marks and slight background noise in the quieter parts that does not lessen the audio quality. The laminated cover is in very good condition with minor scuffing of the spine. The record label has pencil marks on one side (Supersize photos).
This is the Australian only release of the essential Beach Boys album "Pet Sounds". Ignored at it's time of release in 1966, this album is a psychedelic masterpiece that is right on par with The Beatles "Rubber Soul". This album marked Brian Wilson's march into madness through large doses of LSD. Gone are the surf friendly tunes that fans were used too, replaced by a complex sound that transcends many genres of music. Crucial listen.
The Fabulous Beach Boys: Original Australian Press: 1966 Music For Pleasure Records MFP-A 8090 . Matrix numbers DT-1-2458-B10 and DT-2-2458-W3 (2458) is the Pet Sounds American Capital release catalogue number.
