The FIX . . Jans Room . . Very Rare Classic Raging Hardcore EP from 1981. Touch and Go Records 4 Tracks that push your face against the wall !
In Great Condition well cared for and been box stored nearly 30 years.
Sleeve is near Mint , only slight creasing where record has been. So will say EX+
Original Insert is Mint- due to the 1 cm crease bottom left corner :)
Vinyl Looks like new (see Photos . . happy to upload more) . . Slightest of surface mark on track 3 which doesnt affect sound or play and when i first played it again there was a click on track 3 (didnt jump) but no visible marks , i cleaned it again and played with a little more weight on the stylus and it didnt click . . i think the power of the pressing may push some lightweight record players . . but im playing it again now and its playing fine (infact better stop playing it or i wont sell it as it sounds great . . i notice a very slight wobble while its playing but when held looks straight so is only slight and does not affect play. So how do you grade that ???? Mint- / EX + ?
The Fix were from Lansing, Michigan and were one of the very first bands to ignite the vibrant mid-west scene circa 1980-81. Produced by Spot
legendary, hard to find original 'The Fix - Jan's room Ep' This classic was released 1981 by Touch & Go Records. It has the old Lansing, MI address on the back.
Note that that the third song 'Signal' is called 'Signals in distress' on the record label. Only 1000 records were ever made and few will probably remain in such good nick
This is from a private collection that has been stored perfectly for between 20 to 30+ years !! and i will be selling more of this collection in May.
