Description
Rare 1969 US Promotional Copy – The End “Introspection” London PS 560
Up for sale is an authentic original 1969 US promotional pressing of this cult British psychedelic rock classic: The End – Introspection (London Records PS 560, Stereo).
Produced by Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman, with guest appearances including Charlie Watts (tabla on “Shades of Orange”) and Nicky Hopkins (harpsichord on “Loving Sacred Loving”). This is the band’s only album — a highly regarded late-60s psych/pop-psych gem full of dreamy melodies, trippy atmospheres, and strong songwriting. Tracks like “Dreamworld,” “Shades of Orange,” “Under the Rainbow,” and the two-part title track “Introspection” have made it a favorite among collectors of 1960s British psych.
Condition Details (Goldmine standards):
• Vinyl: Near Mint (NM). Fully play-tested from start to finish — plays and sounds excellent with strong, clear audio, excellent dynamics, and minimal to no surface noise even in quiet passages. No skips, pops, or distortion. Glossy and clean with only the lightest possible marks (if any).
