Vinyl private pressing of The Emporium - I'm So Glad (In Concert). from 1970 on Peace Records out of Lamoni, Iowa. THE EMPORIUM - I'm So Glad (In Concert). 1970 Peace Records out of Iowa. Cool psych pop album rarity, that hardly turns up. Four girls and four guys in this group, though they sound more like a four or five piece. Lots of good vocals, girl/guy harmonies. Musically, it's got some fuzz guitar and bass, nothing heavy, just a psych vibe feel all the way through. Album is recorded live in Iowa with good sound quality. Though I believe they were billed as a Christian act, there is only one song on the album, "Jesus Jesus", which has any real type of Christian contation to it. It is also one of the songs with fuzz guitar. Tracks: Aquarius, Green Green, Jesus Jesus/Trails of Your Mind, Jet Plane, For What it's Worth, Get Together, I'm so Glad, Here Comes the Sun, Brother Love.
