Description

For your consideration is original 1980 Empire Strikes Back movie score featuring John Williams featuring National Philharmonic Orchestra and Charles Gerhardt. Inside gatefold features commentary from Ray Bradbury, John Williams and Christopher Palmer. This is a fully dynamic range recording digital DBX disc. Cover has great art on both sides and is in very good condition with minor surface wear here and there. Original dust jacket in fair condition with some splits where the album pushed through. Record itself is in excellent condition and has not been played in 4 decades. Amazing album for something 40 years old. This was displayed in my office and is now ready for you to display or play.
Note from the back of the album: “This digital recording will reproduce perfectly on regular stereophonic equipment. However, to fully appreciate the extreme dynamic range and frequency response of this disc, a playback system of ‘audiophile’ quality is recommended.”
I have additional vinyl/albums listed and I love to combine shipping whenever I can.
This will be well-packed for shipping. My goal is to never make a profit off of shipping, so if actual shipping costs greatly exceed the amount stated in this listing, I will refund the difference. If I’ve underestimated shipping costs, that’s on me. I try to be as accurate as possible with my description and my photos (photos are considered a part of the description). Please review the pictures and message me with questions--I will do my best to respond quickly. I will combine shipping from other auctions for items that can be shipped together. I buy and sell on eBay all of the time and I want you to have a positive experience. Once you receive this item, if it doesn’t meet your expectations based upon my description and the pictures, please reach out and let me try to resolve the issue. Note: I take great care in packing items so they don’t get broken in transit. This stated, sometimes things happen that are beyond my control. If something arrives broken/damaged, you MUST take pictures of the exterior packaging as well as the interior condition. For expensive items that are insured through the mail delivery service, this is the only way a proper claim can be made. If it’s insured and you claim it arrived broken, and tossed out the packaging, I can’t be responsible for the actions of the delivery services. If you keep all of the packaging and take photos, it will protect us both.
