The ELVIS PRESLEY Story ~ Volume 1. Limited Edition Collector's Treasury
Produced and directed by Ron Jacobs, written by Jerry Hopkins and based on his book 'Elvis'. I scanned the tracklist inside the gatefold cover- it's in my last pic. Other side of the inside is a great photo of Elvis (an of course, the two cover photos as shown here as fantastic!). Narrated by Wink Martindale.
Original pressing "Munich International in association with EAP Records". Dated 1981 and listed as EAP from Munich, Germany, but it looks like an American release to me, actually. This records and very thick heavy cover, with USA-style construction. I never use the term Mint, in favor of Near Mint; but this cover is actually MINT. Also it's of a very high quality of manufacture. The same can't be said of the record which seem to be of low-quality manufacture (I'm sure they're all like this). Three sides are Near Mint; the last side has a mark on the surface which appears to be from the manufacturing process and may make some light ticks for a limited number of revolutions.
This is a 'sleeper' item - it's actually quite rare.
