The EASYBEATS

" MEAN OLD LOVIN' " ~ 7" EP in picture sleeve ~ Raven, RV-01 ~ Original Australian first (numbered) pressing ~ Released 1979 ~ First edition was a numbered pressing of 1000 copies (this is #442) ~

None of the 6 tracks, all from their first recording session in 1965, had ever been released before. All songs are Stevie Wright/George Young compositions...and all are excellent garage tunes! Harry Vanda sings on the last track - all others feature Stevie of course.

Track listing:

MEAN OLD LOVIN'

I'M HAPPY

HEY BABE

I DON'T AGREE

KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF MY BABE

NO ONE KNOWS

CONDITION - COVER:  ( EX- )  Has nice square corners with only very minor scuffing. Has some ringwear on the back, and some tiny edge blemishes. There are no creases, nor any other bends, or folds. Has a light water stain on the back at bottom left, an ink smudge in the top left corner of the front (merely from the wet ink of the numbering of the copy it sat next to at the time), and some very minor foxing on the white panel at the top on the front...and basically, nothing else to complain about - it's beautiful! The photos here should be enough to show you exactly what to expect.

CONDITION - RECORD:  ( EX- )  Has its original shine intact, with just a few very light scuffs only...which have virtually NO effect on the sound and it plays so close to mint! (let's say M-!) - a great LOUD listen...plays beautifully...

CONDITION - LABELS:  Both are mint.

PACKAGING AND MAILING:  Absolutely ALL care will be taken when packaging this - record and sleeve are separated to avoid any damage in transit, and both are packed in a sealed outer polyethylene sleeve between layers of strong very flat and thick card - I've been doing this for 30+ years and am proud of my 'no damage' record.

If you have any concerns about the accuracy of my gradings, please check my feedback for the odd nice comment from some satisfied folk out there.... (and hopefully you may be able to join their ranks).
