ESPECIALLY NOT IN THIS CONDITION!!!!

The band was started by Henry Sithole and Bunny Luthuli in 1971. As Matt over at Matsuli put it a few years back

"The Drive represented an articulate black urban vision of a future at odds with Apartheid's engineers."

Over the course of their six years of existence they travelled the length and breadth of Southern Africa playing festivals and what venues were still available.

The album constists of 3 jazz/funk/soul tracks with hints of african influences

– especially the track ”way back fifties” which also is the track they are most famous for.

I like the track ”can you feel it” better, but the whole album is strong and consistent which is to me a definite plus

– as this is not just a ”one tracker” but an Incredible album you WILL enjoy from start to end!!!

(Cover has a few tiny tears on bottom edge from shelf wear. Also a little tear on ”title” edge.

A 0,5x4cm trace on front of a Name written that you hardly notice -check photo. The flaws mentioned seems minor, but worth mentioning given that this is a serious rare record. Otherwise nice and shiny flipback cover with NO splits!!!!)

(vinyl has a few faint superficial hairlines, probably from taking record out of sleeve -close to NM.

 The sound is AWESOME!!! no clicks or pops. Check audio!!!)
