THE DOORS - 'STRANGE DAYS'
This wonderful sounding copy of their 2nd album with some of their most psychedelic songs dates from initial September 1967 release
It is a UK 1st STEREO pressing on the Polydor-pressed Elektra label: EKS-74014
Matrix numbers: EKS 74014 A1 & EKS 74014 B1
Disc weight: 134g
Housed in a fully laminated UK Polydor manufactured cover complete with its original lyric printed inner-sleeve.

Both are clean & unblemished with some light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both playing surfaces are perfectly clean and retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shine and are free form any significant surface marks on wear in strong daylight. Closer inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals a number of harmless wispy paper-type hairlines, but nothing I would call a scratch & a sparkling rainbow shine.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
A wonderful sounding copy, carefully played on top-quality equipment only and retains clean, clear & warm sound with no trace of any groove/playwear or background interference. My single careful play-check detected just a touch of low-level vinyl background between tracks and not a single tick, pop, click or any other audible distraction of any kind.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A fine example which retains an unscratched high-gloss front panel laminate free from any 'thumbnails' or any other trace of wear. The corners are unbumped and both opening edges are totally unworn.
The rear panel is just as clean & glossy but has some laminate lift along the spine. However both seams are smooth, unstressed & unsplit.
The spine is unworn with full lamination & lettering
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT -
A few gentle storage bends with some aged handling marks, but no writing, tears or seam splits.
