Description

The Doors amazing 1967 debut album on Elektra Records. This pressing (though on the original 1st gold Elektra labels) is technically a 2nd run as indicated by the "Harms Co." credit for 'Alabama Song' and matrix numbers on Side 2.  As far as the audio is concerned, there is very little (if any) difference between the very 1st Stereo and this early 1967 reissue.  If you're properly set up with a decent turntable and cartridge/stylus you'll be very happy with the sound from this pressing.
Cover: VG++.....nice condition all around with just a couple of minor details keeping preventing a full Excellent grade.
Original Inner-Sleeve: VG....some wear to the bottom edge and a split to one side but still decent.
Record: VG+ to Excellent....nice shine to both sides of the rigid record.  Under strong lights I can make out some hairlines and superficial marks. Most have absolutely no effect on the audio. You might hear some light ticks but not many. I've played this record from start to finish and it was a very nice and enjoyable listen.
Matrix Numbers:     Side 1      EKS - 74007  A      (M)          (MR)        Triangle 9991                                Side 2      EKS - 74007  B  -  RE           (MR)        Triangle 9991 - X
