Description

An original 1st press of Morrison Hotel on the UK Elektra label. Matrix A1/B1. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In great condition and ha only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a few marks either side - nothing heavy though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Even those quiet paired down tracks play nice and clean. Interference is very minor and infrequent. Do expect a couple of crackles in the occasion isolated moment and a couple of light ticks right at the start of 'Land Ho!'. Other than that we are talking about a very nice clean rendition of the DOORS at the height of their powers..
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has been cared for down the years. Th front is nice and clean without surface wear. There's one crease running over the top left corner and a sticker in the top left corner. The rear is clean too with no issues. The interior is in great shape with one crease on the right hand panel. There's a bit of edge wear which is most noticeable on the spine - so don't expect to make out all the text. Overall the cover retains very good rigidity.
