Description

An original 1st press of MH on the Elektra UK label from 1970. Matrix A1/B1. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover. Also included is the original patents applied for inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In super condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection we could make out a few light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with deviation on side 2. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. This DOORS record just sounds marvellous on vinyl... I can't recommend it highly enough [I am slightly biased on this one though!!]. Interference is both minor and infrequent. By and large a clean player, but a couple of tracks on side 2 are exhibiting a touch of static e.g. SPY. Nothing invasive that detracts noticeably - they're just not quite as clean as the rest of the LP. Overall still a very impressive rendition of this CLASSIC Lp.
Cover (Ex) In great shape and has been cared for down the years. Clean front and back without the usual wear and creasing you often find with this title. The interior looks immaculate - no issues at all. Edge wear is light too and the openings are still sharpish. The spine is pretty much entirely intact. Overall the cover retains an excellent level of rigidity. Nice!
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits or markings.
