The Doors - Debut First Album Stereo EKS 74007 UK First Pressing LP
PLEASE BE AWARE: I have no way of playing vinyl, so this item is bid on as seen in the photographs. I have done my best to show the condition of the vinyl and the sleeve in the photos, and will also attempt to describe the condition.
From research on the internet I believe this to be a first UK pressing of the Doors debut album - please check the matrix codes for yourself.
These are, as you can see in the photos: EKS-74007 A-1A(col) EKS-74007 B-1A(col)
The sleeve is in generally good condition, but the laminate is peeling a little near the spine and there are a few creases on both front and back. These are fairly obvious in the photographs.
There is no original dust jacket.
The labels are in very good condition, with almost no spindle marks, though there is a scuff on the outside of the label on side one, bottom right (see photo).
The vinyl seems to be in generally what I would say looks fair condition - there are undeniably a fair few superficial scuffs and scratches. These are most visible in the last two images.
There are two or three scratches which look a little more problematic: Side 1 a couple of scratches across tracks 1 and 2 - see photo 11 top right. Not particularly deep, but quite visible. Side 2 across tracks 1 and 2 - see photo 12 bottom left - this is the worst one.
Overall, I would say for a first pressing of a record manufactured fifty years ago (can it really be half a century?!), it is in reasonable condition.
