Description
Ok, getting very hard to find, especially in MONO & in this VISUAL/AUDIO condition. The Doors records have seen a marked increase in value of the last three years. I follow the market closely as a I am a Doors disciple. Also selling other Doors records including the full set of 1st issue UK singles (including the ultra rare Break on Through!!). Cover easily merits an EX grading, intact, vibrant, and ultra clean with only minor laminate creases as a point worthy of note. A truly superb example.
This record looks and plays wonderful. Side 1 vinyl condition by eye is Ex as a minimum, only a limited light marks under intense light. Playback/Audio is at least EX, a few ticks track 4 (20th Century Fox) that play out, minimal background where any, Light My Fire has a very brief/momentary (< 1 rev.) skip for some inexplicable reason as the visual is super clean so it could be ingrained dirt. Side 1 Label is a gorgeous orange and rates Ex & better, with minimum spindle trails (some blank ink run from factory). Gorgeous sheen to the vinyl. Sounds awesome too. Side 2 vinyl condition by eye is Ex as a minimum, only a limited light marks under intense light (1/2 absolutely light marks, The End, when held to light but these are non-sounding). Playback/Audio is at least EX, minimal background where any. Side 1 Label is a gorgeous orange and rates Ex & better, with minimum spindle trails. Gorgeous sheen to the vinyl. Sounds awesome too.
I have been conservative with the visual & audio grading. This scarce Mono copy plays beautifully with barely any static even in the quiet places.

LOW START for a rare record in rare condition. You will struggle to find better both visually and in terms of audio.
