The Deviants: Ptoof! UK Original 1969, DECCA label 1st Pressing Mono LP.
Very rare, Mono Unboxed Red Label LP
Cat No: LK-R 4993 Matrix No's: IMP-001.A1-1A and IMP-001.B-1-1A
Sleeve printed in England by Robert Stace. John Peel sleeve notes on rear.
Psych Classic -
1969 original UK MONO pressing on the red DECCA label. This is the original first press Unboxed DECCA with silver lettering & red label. Cat No LK-R.4993 with printed matrices. Reputedly only 1,000 copies were ever made of this DECCA Mono LP, making it one of the rarest on the DECCA label and amongst the rarest of all the lates 60's British Psych/prog albums released during this golden period.
The album is in stunning Near Mint / Mint- condition and has been stored in a plastic sleeve since new so the sleeve is also in excellent shape with no rips, tares or heavy wear.
Vinyl Excellent Mint- Condition retaining their original full shiny deep gloss. Little if any surface marks, plays/sounds superb with a great clear sound as you would expect from a DECCA 60s heavy vinyl.
Labels both Mint- beautiful sharp colours and virtually unmarked.
It would be difficult to find a better copy of this classic LP, especially in Mono.
Sleeve Vg+ / Mint- Front laminated with minimal signs of storage wear, no rips or tares. A few light lamination creases that are barely visible and some light residue from a sticker. The seams are all straight and show little or no signs of wear. The spine has very little signs of wear, just one visible crease, and the text is all clear and visible.
Red Mono inner sleeve in excellent condition with no rips or tares.
An all round superb copy of this rare and classic Psych LP with no reserve price.
