Description
Just recently I bought a massive collection of 60's and 70's LPs...some are in surprisingly immaculate condition, and some are not, but the original owner (a well-respected Australian vinyl hoarder) was a fastidious collector of the styles he loved - 60's punk/garage, British invasion well-knowns [Beatles/Hollies/Dave Clark 5/Gerry & The Pacemakers/Zombies/Troggs/etc..], 70's West Coast sounds, pop-psych and he'd obviously forraged far and wide since there's a flurry of unique South American, New Zealand,Taiwanese, South African, Japanese releases amongst them all.
Here then, is one of the LPs from his collection:

ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING?: Yes, it is!...VERY hard to find with original gold Elektra labels (they were very close to disusing them here) and has a gold & black 'STEREO' sticker on the front cover at top right. Has gatefold thin card cover...and the inside cover right-hand panel is also printed on the inside of the pocket in which the record sits (most unusual!)...see pic...
The matrix numbers are:
SIDE ONE: EKS-75007-A2
SIDE TWO: EKS-75007-B
On the back cover, it has the original notation: 'PRESSED BY THE MANUFACTURERS OF ASTOR RADIOS, RADIOGRAMS, AND TELEVISION' along the bottom...with
'Printed in Australia by Radio Corporation Pty. Ltd.' in smaller print to the right of that...

CONDITION:
COVER: ( VG- )...has major scuffing on the spine and a seam split there too...also has a bit of scuffing near the band name at the top, plus minor ringwear, and a couple of creases...At the bottom centre of the inside cover, it had once been stuck together, and there are some obvious tears there (see pix)...
RECORD: ( G++ )...has a lot of scuffs/marks/scratches...BUT...it plays very well, with some crackling, but again, it's not severe...it's a very loud cut and a great listen still!...
LABELS: (Side One: EX / Side Two: EX )...
