Description

Artist : The Cure

Title : Wish

Format : Double vinyl LP

Fiction Records - 1992. Double vinyl LP. Visually inspected under a strong light, both records show no major problems at all. Both records are very clean and very shiny. There are a few surface marks here and there, but nothing serious at all. Record 2, side 2 has the worst of the surface marks, with one noticeable mark (when held up to the light) that runs across a couple of the tracks. However, this is not in any way a "feel-able" mark, so it should not affect playback. All in all, both records have been well cared for over the years, and don't look to have been played a large number of times.

Outer sleeve in very good condition, but not fantastic to be honest. No rips, no tears, nothing nasty at all. However, the sleeve has picked up some surface rubbing, and a bit of wear here and there. Edge wear top and bottom isn't too bad at all, spine a little worn....but again, nothing severe. Corner wear evident on all 4 corners, most notable on the reverse of the sleeve. I've highlighted the worst corner wear on the pics above. Other than that, a little creasing here and there, but nothing serious in my opinion. Also, see the above pics for the areas of the cover that have the rubbing/ring wear. In general, nothing too bad at all...just a bit of general wear that has occurred over the last 21 years or thereabouts.

Inner colour printed sleeves in very good condition throughout. A little bit of creasing and some minor corner wear on a couple of the corners....but nothing to worry about, in my opinion. Some ring wear is evident from storage, but most people would find this totally acceptable.

In general, a decent copy of a very collectable and increasingly rare album. I haven't seen this one on vinyl all that much, and I'd say it's an essential addition to any Cure fan's collection.
