This 7" is in Excellent ++ condition and is from a smoke/pet free home. I have owned this record for the last 15 years and have never played it. Over the years of Cure collecting this is one of the best copies I have seen!!!
Information from The Cure - On Record from by Daren Butler:
The Cure's first single in Japan was 'The Hanging Garden' released in 1983 on the VAP (Video Audio Project) label. The only similarity between the UK pressing is the A side itself. The unusual sleeve design of three stills from the video was put together by VAP and is consequently unique to this scarce Japanese pressing. Another peculiarity of this pressing is that 'A Strange Day' replaces the live UK B side 'Killing An Arab'. 'A Strange Day' does not appear on any other single or record other than 'Pornography' itself. Unlike the pocket style sleeve from most other counties, the picture sleeve to this release are delicate two sided inserts with lyrics on the reverse, and the record in a VAP inner sleeve, all contained in a clear bag.
