The Cure - Grinding Halt / Meat Hook (Fiction AGE18) 1979 - Rare 12" Promo Single
Seminal new wave band fronted by Robert Smith and formed at the beginning of the punk era in 1976 in Crawley, Sussex. They released their debut album "Three Imaginary Boys" in 1979 which made No.44, this 12" single is a rare, very limited promotional single featuring two tracks from the album and distributed solely to radio stations.
Format: Two track promotional 12" vinyl single on the Fiction Records label pressed in black vinyl at Strawberry Studios. The vinyl is housed in its original plain white single sleeve, there is no sticker to the top right corner. The sleeve has the title written by hand on the front. It is supplied with a poly-lined paper liner.
Matrix No: Side 1: CUR1-A1, Side 2: CUR1-B1.
Track List: Side 1: 1: Grinding Halt, Side 2: 2: Meat Hook.
Condition: Record: Excellent. Probably on the plus side of excellent. Plays perfectly. Visually near perfect. There is slight evidence of use, a spindle mark on the label. Sleeve: Excellent -. Some grubbiness. Liner: Excellent.
