Description
The mighty Cramps with a rare early eighties four song ep - Blind Vision containing previously unreleased studio versions of four great songs. The line-up for this ep is Poison Ivy, Nick Knox, Kid Congo Powers and of course the late and very much missed Lux Interior.
The records that I'm currently selling all come from my own personal collection. It is with great regret that I'm selling them now but circumstances have forced my hand & I badly need the cash. All have been extremely well cared for over the years (but do not come from a pet or smoke free environment). I recommend a good cleaning before playing as some have not been played in some time. I'm listing a number of records & CDs over the coming days/weeks with lots of punk, psych. indie etc & many rarities so please have a look, if you like this there's a good chance you'll like more of what I'm selling.
A Side: 1) The Most Exalted Potentate Of Love 2) Five Years Ahead Of My Time. B Side: 1) Jesus Was A Sinner 2) Call Of The Wighat. I.R.S.TIBLE Records. American pressing (I think). Record is graded as EX- & it's cover graded as VG++ with slight ringwear. The record labels on this release are completely blank and on the Side 1 label at the time I first bought it I wrote the #1 in blue biro to distinguish the playing sides. Also please note that I've stated this record plays at 33.33rpm but (as the labels are blank and it's been sometime since my turntable was working) I can't be 100% sure of this & it may play at45rpm.
We use the UK Record Collector grading system, explained fully below, and we grade conservatively. Please note that this record has been graded visually only.
M (Mint) - the record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition. EX (Excellent) - the record shows slight signs of having been played but there is no lessening in sound quality and the cover and any extra items are as new. VG (Very Good) - the record has obviously been played quite a few times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. A slight amount of wear and tear on the cover and any extra items is acceptable. G (Good) - the record still produces a reasonable, playable sound but has obviously been played a lot. Although showing wear and tear, neither the record or it's cover and any extra items display major defects. F (Fair) - sound quality has deteriorated markedly. The cover and any extra items display folding, scuffing, marks, etc.
Australia Post have (again!) just increased their charges so in turn my charges have increased slightly. Sorry but it ain't my fault!
- Postage within Australia is $4.00 regular or $6.80 registered for one to three 7" 45s. Four to six 45s will cost $7.00 regular or $9.80 registered.
- Overseas airmail is postage $7.00 for one 7" 45 and $8.50 for two 7" 45s. Registered post is available to international buyers at a cost of $5.00 and this carries $100.00 postal insurance.
- Due to a number of items going missing during delivery, buyers from Italy, Brazil & Russia must pay for delivery by registered post.
Please note that we live in a small country town and items posted from here can take a little longer to reach their destination than those posted from a major centre.
If great vinyl is your passion please check out our other auctions. We will always do our very best to combine postage to save you $$$.
Records are posted out twice weekly and will generally be sent within two working days of confirmation of payment arriving. Records are packaged extremely carefully (we are after all record collectors ourselves) using both cardboard and bubblewrap. We guarantee that the condition of the records and their covers/inserts/etc are accurately described and any photos are of the actual record for sale. We cannot however guarantee the safety of your purchase once it is in the hands of the postal services. For this reason registered post for both Australian buyers and overseas buyers is both offered and strongly recommended. Your purchases really are worthy of this additional protection. Usually such precautions are not needed but ......Only once have we had a record damaged in transit and the Post Office then paid up as they could not fault our packaging, saving the buyer a great deal of money.
Any glare in the photo is indicative of my lack of photographic skills and not of defects with the record.
If you have any queries please contact us, we will always do our best to reply promptly.
Australian buyers may pay by Paypal, direct deposit (please include your eBay trading name with the deposit to speed up identification of the payment and thus postage) or money order. Overseas buyers may pay by Paypal. All payments must be in Australian dollars or an additional $10.00 added to cover bank charges.
If, for any reason, you are unhappy with your purchase please contact us immediately. Or if you bid but need time to pay or are unable to complete the transaction please just tell us immediately. We are reasonable people and understand how these things can sometimes happen.
