At time of pressing these were unreleased tracks. Studio recordings that didn't quite make it anywhere except possibly this infamous recording of
Thee Most Exalted Potentate of Love which possibly confirms suspicions (sp?) that it was indeed a studio track with audience track added later that made it onto SMELL OF FEMALE.
I dunno but it sounds note for note the same to me, but for what it's worth who cares, I think its pretty funny they did it actually.
Quality of these tracks is not the same as released albums though it is released as an I.R.S. record. White label.
Produced by (wait for it) Herschell Gordon Lewis! Well it could be couldn't it, what's he doing these days ???
Side One:
The Most Exalted Potentate of Love
Five Years Ahead of My Time (trippy psychadelic cover of , I can't remember who...)
Side Two:
Jesus was a Sinner (bluesy sounding, minimal instrumentation)
Call of the Wighat (actually different studio recording of what was Live on SMELL OF FEMALE pretty funny, slightly different lyrics)
