(The Cosmic Sound Of) Gandharva: "Energy" 1977, USA/Sadhu 5165. SEALED ORIGINAL! Killer California private press. A very trippy excursion into the darkest realms of psychedelic folk with vocals, guitar, really freaky violin (think David Cross in King Crimson... totally sinister!), and percussion. A couple of tracks are total monsters, I don't think they can be topped in this direction. The guy is a great guitarist, too... he incorporates a lot of right hand slapping/percussion. If anybody has a private folk LP that can touch this one, I sure wanna know about it. TOP COPY!
