Description

Artist: The Corvells
Title: Take My love / Daisy

Label: ABC Paramount
Catalogue #: AMP 45-4410
Side A Matrix #: RECORDING RECO-ART PHILO J-46 ABC 4610 ER

Label Condition: VG+; someone has written the words "ok" and "slow" on the back with a light pencil, I will post a picture if anyone is interested in seeing what it looks like(just shoot me a message). Other than that, there is some slight discoloration(see pic) but it looks great overall.

Vinyl Condition: VG++,there are a couple of light scratches on the B-side, both sides play like a champ(the audio sample below is from the piece for sale).

About This Record: This track was cut in Philadelphia in 1962 but failed to make a dent, the Corvells would later go on to release a few more singles under the cub label that are much easier to track down. The A-Side is so upbeat it almost borders on being a rock song instead of a doo-wop piece(especially the piano vamps in the middle) whereas the B-side is a more traditional sweet doo-woop track.
