This is a very rare original pressing of the Common People, Of the People, By The People, For The People, released in 1969 by Capitol Records. Original US Pressings of this LP have a near mint book value of $200.

As to grading, I grade very conservatively following Goldmine Record grading standard. Except that for records that are a notch below near mint, rather than VG ++, I prefer to use grade of Excellent. I do not use VG++ grade in addition to Excellent grade as is done by some.

The LP is in excellent condition with no visible marks except something I have seen on a number of pressings including those sealed and opened by me. This appears on side 2 in the body of the first track. it appears to have occurred during the manufacturing process and not due to play and has no impact on play. It is not the fogging defect that some LPs show at manufacturing. The LP was play graded and plays very quietly  Note that the LPS were tested several weeks prior to listing and cleaned by hand and not machine. They should be cleaned again before play. The cover is very good condition still in shrink wrap. All corners on cover show very slight wear. The top and bottom seams and the spine are strong with product information on spine clearly readable, The cover has no splits. The  front and back covers are very clean. There is a cut out hole on the top front on cover near mouth and some creasing at the lower mouth corner.

The LP is being sold without reserve and payment is expected within 3 days of auction close. Return of the LP will only be accepted if the same LP sold and shipped is returned. Buyers that behave in a less than ethical manner will be reported and blocked from participation in future auctions.
