Description
The rarely-seen original Atlantic Records pressing of The Clovers' 1956 debut album: "The Clovers" (Atlantic #1248). The album jacket here is in very nice overall condition, with only minor scuffs and scratches, and some age discoloration visible in the photos below. There are no split seams, and only very minor corner wear; with the exception of the top left corner point which has a small ding visible only from the front side. The record itself has some fine scratching and a couple of minor scuffs, but plays beautifully on my Harman/Kardon turntable, with any unwanted noise essentially limited to the changer grooves and lead-in gaps between songs. My copy of Goldmine's "Standard Catalog of American Records" show this one at $600 in top condition; so here's a chance to pick up a bargain on a record that many collectors never get a chance to see.
