Description
This is Washington, D.C. R&B vocal group The Clovers singing "Devil Or Angel" and "Hey, Doll Baby" on Atlantic 1083 from 1956. This # 3 R&B chart record looks to be a strong VG++ with very minor surface markings and a faint red smear on one label. For the most part this record plays in NM condition but there are a few scattered background noises. This record comes in an Atlantic Records company sleeve. The picture sleeve is a custom sleeve made in Canada or England and is in MINT condition. This sleeve is a one-off sleeve that was not mass produced. This item comes in a clear, resealable, poly-vinyl protective sleeve with a cardboard backer separating the record from the picture sleeves. This record is the original pressing with the yellow and black labels and has a price guide valuation of $100.00. to $200.00. You can own this excellent copy for the low end of that range and receive this beautiful custom picture sleeve with it. Four years later Bobby Vee would take "Devil Or Angel" to # 6 on the Billboard pop charts.
