Description

An original 1st press of SAND on UK CBS custom labels. Matrix A4/B5/C2/D1/E3/F4. The vinyl comes housed in an original box cover. The Armageddon Times gimmick paper [lyrics] is present.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In great condition and has seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I'm struggling to make out anything more than a couple of slightest marks per side. A bit of edge wobble noticeable on side 2 [measure at max amplitude of 1mm]. Which does appear to cause a couple of jumps [see detail]. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of deviations. Across SIX sides - that's a great strike rate. Plays clean throughout. A couple of minor ticks as side 2 starts up. Three non-repeating jumps in 'Rebel Waltz'. Bangin'...<<<
Cover (Vg) Notoriously difficult to find in decent condition. Sticking triple vinyl into a soft card unlaminated box cover was always going to cause issues...a couple of years down the line.. let alone 40! About average I'd say. Relatively clean and back. Bit of contortion on the box shape. Text on the spine is legible - but again there is a bit of contortion,
Inners (Vg+) No splits. Light ageing.
