Description
Having collected vinyl albums since the 1960s I am continuing to sell some of my original and early pressings, all purchased and looked after by me. They have all been played on quality turntables with high grade cartridges and stored correctly at all times. On offer is this rare, early version that has two different song writing and publishing credits. Track A3 “Junco Partner” is credited to “Unknown” and published by Copyright Control instead of James Booker and War Lock Music. Track F4 “Version Pardner” is also credited to “Unknown”, published by Copyright Control instead of Clash and War Lock Music. This is the original UK release CBS FLSN1, released in December 1980 that contains a three page fold out booklet “ARMAGIDEON TIMES no3”. This is fully intact with no markings or tears and only the natural signs of aging. The inner sleeves have been replaced with modern, protective sleeves to look after the vinyl. The Original Sticker The Clash SANDINISTA! 36 TRACK TRIPLE ALBUM is on the cover.

Having play graded all six sides I can confirm that the quality throughout is of NM quality, having rarely been played before, and, in my continuing quest for absolute honesty, I found a minor scratch at the start of “The Street Parade” on Side Five resulting in four clicks but with no effect on the continuity of the track. Apart from this there are no scratches, pops or clicks and hardly any surface noise between tracks on any of the six sides. Due to the minor scratch I have downgraded the overall assessment to EX. The vinyl is still sleek and the spindles are in great condition (please see photos for full validation of my description). The variety of music is astonishing as the band cover many genres on the album. The cover is in excellent condition with no creases or marks and a clearly legible spine. The three page booklet is unmarked and only shows natural discolouration from the last forty four years.
This is a great opportunity to own this classic release from The Clash at their most inventive time. Thank you for looking. Postage and packaging will ensure the albums are kept safe from any damage during transit.
