Description
The Clash “Combat Rock”. Original 1982 Japan first Pressing LP with original OBI-Strip and 2-Sided Insert with liner notes and lyrics, plus large fold out poster. 1982 EPIC Records 25-3P-353. Made in Japan. Out of print.
PICTURE SLEEVE: Super clean. Rare to find in this top condition. No seam-splits, rips or tears. Crisp corners, but one on the lower-right (and lower-left if viewing the same corner on the back cover) has a crinkle. A barely noticeable, very faint line indent along the center, bottom edge of front cover. See pics.
VINYL: Beautiful, deep, shiny, mirror-like gloss. Smooth surface. Minimal “spidering” marks around the center label hole that become more prominent if the light catches it just right. If you were to tilt the vinyl at an angle against a very bright light source and inspect it very closely, some lite line marks and faint blemishes become visible. These marks are more difficult to detect under normal room light however.
OBI-STRIP: As new with just a barely noticeable bit of fraying to a tiny portion where it folds over at the bottom-left edge.
INSERT: As new. A very small crinkle on the bottom center edge where it folds in half. See pic.
POSTER: As new. Never hung. No pinholes. A few crinkles on the portion where it folds, but that is to be expected since it is a “Fold-Out” style poster. Please check out the pics of the poster completely unfolded with the LP sleeve next to it to get a sense of the size.
