This item is a white label promotional album & 45 rpm record released in 1979 by The Clash entitled ‘The Clash’. Promo record label and number is Epic Records JE 36060. Record itself appears to be in near mint condition and looks as if it might have been played a couple of times. White promo labels show no spindle wear (see photos). Trail off area of records has the print‘ Shapes of things to Clash‘ and ‘Nothing Can Change’. LP cover is in excellent condition with some light wear (see photos). Back of the cover is promo stamped. Album comes with its original photo / lyric inner sleeve. This LP comes with a promotional 45 rpm record containing the songs ‘Gates Of The West’ b/w ‘Groovy Times’. This promo 45 was also included with early commercially released copies of this album. See photos for song listings and 45 pic.
