Description
Up for consideration I have one, of a larger selction of very rare original vintage vinyl - 7 inch - 45's. From the early to mid 1950's. All these records are direct from a house clearance.
The Chordettes, recorded in 1954 on the Columbia Label ( Purple and Gold ) No. SCM5158.
Side. 1 : Mr. Sandman
Side. 2 : I Don't Wanna See You Cryin'.
The vinyl is in good condition for its age - it has some scuff marks and lines on it but I have played it. The lead in is a bit crackly and there are a few small clicks but it plays through to the end and is not warped! Overall I think it plays very well for its age. The label has a sticker on one side and a mark on the other side from an old sticker, although I think this can be removed easily. This record would benefit from a good clean, by someone who knows what they are doing.The vinyl has retained most of its shine and the cover is also in good condition for its age.
