Description

The Chameleons - What Does Anything Mean? Rare 1985 Portugese Press Gatefold Excellent condition.
This is the Rare 1985 Portugese edition with a gatefold Sleeve and a misprint on the label (1981 instead of 1985) but sadly I have lost the printed inner sleeve.
It is in excellent condition throughout apart from some mild shelf wear on the sleeve - I have only played it once in the last thirty years and it has been well looked after.
I have listened through the whole album and it is almost faultless -
A - slight crackles early in 'Silence, Sea and Sky' and the beginning of 'Perfume Garden' and two slight pops in 'Intrigue in Tangiers' and then the rest of Side A plays out beautifully well.   B - Very slight crackle in 'On The Beach' and one slight click at the beginning of 'Looking Inwardly'. There are two audible pops during 'One Flesh' and some very slight crackles during the fade out at the end of the side. Apart from that I haven't heard any other faults - the rest is excellent.
It is in a high quality MoFi archive inner sleeve to protect against static etc. but it might have picked up some dust when I took the photos.
I have taken lots of photos of the sleeve so that you can judge it's condition for your self - there are no serious creases or tears and no writing anywhere, just minor wear at the edges and corners. Please study the photos carefully as they form part of the description. It has some tiny cardboard bumps on the top edge that look like a mild production fault - I haven't wanted to snip them off as I think they were there when it was produced. You can only see the outline of the vinyl through the sleeve if you hold it at the right angle in the right light but it is most noticeable inside the gatefold near the centre (see photos).
I will package it well and send it, tracked, using eBay's buyer protection system for your peace of mind.
