Description
This is a very nice copy of the 1963 surf album "Surfer's Pajama Party" by The Centurians. Del-Fi Records DFLP-1228. There seems to be some confusion about this record, as it was released with the same catalog number as the Bruce Johnson album by the same name. This IS NOT the Bruce Johnson version. Complete different band, different songs etc., just confusing for everybody. The runout number at the end of the vinyl completely confirms this. Interestingly, Bob Keane's name is misspelled Keene on the cover! Record is in really nice condition. I have listen tested this LP, as I do every piece of vinyl I offer, and it is a great copy. I try to be conservative, but using the Goldmine scale I will rate the vinyl as VG. Interior paper sleeve has two wrinkled corners and a 1/8" tear by the center hole, but is otherwise very nice. Exterior cardboard jacket I'll rate VG. Everybody has a different perspective of condition, but this is a very nice old record. It's 60 years old, but you won't be disappointed by the listening experience. In my family for decades, and now ready to join your collection for your listening pleasure!
