Description

The Cars – 1978 – The Cars first, self-titled album is a great record. It quickly achieved popular and critical acclaim with hit singles such as Good Times Roll, Just What I Needed and Best Friend’s Girl. But the lesser known songs are just as strong. Somehow the Cars managed to tread a line between new wave, classic rock and radio friendly pop. Sunny pop songs with just a hint of cynical irony. A classic album… and she used to be mine.
