NEAR MINT or NM: This record appears virtually flawless. A very minor scuff and very little else can appear on the vinyl. Most will actually be MINT.
VG++: This record could have a couple of minor scuffs.
VG+: This record will have a few surface scuffs and/or light surface scratches . The vinyl still has a great luster. Possible very light surface noise and/or an occasional click.
VG: This record will have several surface scuffs and/or light surface scratches. There will still be ample luster. Possible light surface noise and/or some clicking.
VG-: This record will have many scuffs and/or light surface scratches (will not look good). Possible surface noise and/or clicking but will not overpower the music.
G: This record will look awful but still be playable.
