The CRAMPS Psychedelic Jungle IRS Records Vinyl LP Record. New, sealed. Ships today!


Recorded January 1981 at A&M Studios. This reissue comes with a plain orange inner sleeve. Released in 1981, Psychedelic Jungle is the band's second studio album, featuring a mix of original songs and covers of 1950s and 1960s songs. Styles range from rock and roll, rockabilly, and garage rock. The singles include "Goo Goo Muck" and "Green Fuz".  The band, consisting of Lux Interior, Poison Ivy, and Kid Congo Powers, produced the album themselves, resulting in a cleaner sound compared to their previous work.  "Psychedelic Jungle" is known for its eerie atmosphere and distinctive psychobilly sound, blending elements of punk rock with rockabilly.
