Description
ULTRA RARE Gallant Records pressing of works by these two obscure artists from the 1960s. A must-have for a completist who's looking to fill out their Gallant catalog. The record does have its share of scuffs and scratches but still plays well without skipping and provides a pretty decent listening experience. Probably a G+ to VG record with the same for the label that has two stars stamped on Side B (see photo).
Side A is an updated instrumental version of the theme song of the play "Man of La Mancha." It features a rockin' 1960s drum and bass line backing up the traditional trumpets and enhanced with a cool organ solo. Side B is a smooth tune by the girl Soul group Mikie and the Ardons. It's a great, hook-y song that sounds like it really could have been a hit way back then.
