For sale by auction: Rare signed copy of The Bird Curtis Quintet 12" vinyl record
In the last 3 years a few of these LPs have sold at auction and reached prices between £600 and £850. Last year a signed copy sold for £822 - this signed LP was bought on the same evening at The Tropicana Club. It was signed by all the band members and also by Maggie Nichols.
Original first and only pressing from 1967 (limited to 100 copies only). Recorded by Tony Pike Music London TPMLP144 - Mono. The Bird Curtis Quintet regularly played at the "Green Man" Jazz club in Blackheath London from 1962 - 1967.

The vinyl is in excellent condition. There are no scratches or marks. Only ever played using a Shure V15 cartridge and SME arm at 1.0g.
