Franklin Mint- 50 x Double LP’s - The Big Band Era !
I am selling this whole collection as one item, mostly you will only find these as single boxed sets, so this is a big chance for someone to own a vast collection in one go and for a very low starting price !
Anyone familiar with this set of works will know there are several hundred artists featured there are too many to list but a few of the artists to be found include:
Glenn Miller, Will Bradley, Orrin Tucker, Don Redman, Duke Ellington, Jack Teagarden, George Hall, Irving Aaronson, Buddy Rich, Noble Sissle, Fred Waring, Les Brown, Jean Goldkette, Richard Himber.
Condition
50 - original release 2LP Box Sets, thus 1 - 100 LP’s the complete set, 24 are still in the original sealed wrappers and would not have been played, 26 unsealed. These albums appear to have been pressed in coloured vinyl (see example photographs). The box for no’s 1&2 has a tear along the edge of the lid all other boxes appear as good and the sealed boxes very good.
I am not a record collector or dealer but on inspection of those that are open the records would seem to be in good/very condition. I do not wish to split this collection and therefore offer as one lot.
