Description
The Best of T Rex (Stateside, 5C 052-92453). Rare Dutch-pressed vinyl LP. The track listing is the same as was on a British album with the same title, which was released by Fly in early 1971 (although this Dutch issue has a far more interesting sleeve!). As any Bolan aficionado will know, the 14 tracks are actually from the Tyrannosaurus Rex period and include the Top 50 hits “Debora”, “One Inch Rock” and “King of the Rumbling Spires”. The front of the sleeve is in pretty good shape with only light wear. The back of the sleeve has some age stains, and three small pieces of scribble next to song titles in the track listing (please see second scan). There is also a sticker which someone has started to remove before realising that it will damage the sleeve. Having said that, the sleeve is in reasonable shape and, to help you decide whether to bid or not, I have made sure that the defects are visible in the second and third scans. The disc has only very light signs of visual wear. Any surface noise when played is very light and, for most of the disc, is not evident at all.
