Description
Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: The Bee Gees – 1st – RARE Original MONO Vinyl LP album from 1967.
MONO
UK pressing
Polydor records.
A1, B4 Matrixes (Genuine First pressing).
Superb condition for its age.
Vinyl Condition: EX (Some light sleeve marks and the odd light scuff but is in superb condition for its age and plays great with lovely clear sound quality. This one does not sound distorted. It plays with strong MONO sound and is free of the distortion that overplayed ones have. This record clearly has been very well cared for and has not been played much. A real pleasure to listen to. It doesn’t get much better and this is by far one of the best I have seen. No sticks or jumps).
Inner Sleeve Condition: VG (Plain white inner)
Outer Sleeve Condition: EX (Front laminated sleeve has some creases and has some marks and yellow marks to the back but for its age it is really good).
I grade my vinyl’s as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
