Description

The Beautiful South - Solid Bronze Great Hits vinyl

2001 Double LP

UK pressing

NM-/VG

If you are a Beautiful South fan then you know this is the holy grail for collectors. This extremely rare 2001 release is their second Greatest Hits collection after Carry On Up The Charts. This album contains some of their greatest songs up through Painting It Red. It came out during the low point of vinyl sales and therefore not many copies are lurking about.

The Good: the discs have only been played once or twice and sound wonderful. This is a marvelous sounding release.

The Bad: There is some ringwear and imperfections to the back cover. Some minor discoloring and small corner wear. While a double LP, this came out in a typical thin single sleeve common to UK releases at the time. I have a couple of these and the damage to the cover is pretty consistent to both my copies. Still in great shape but please see pictures to see what I’m talking about.

All my records come from my personal collection and will be sent in dedicated record mailers securely.
