The Beatles-The Beatles(The White Album) Double LP Here we have an original mono copy of this classic Beatles double album from 1968 on Apple records,cat number PMC 7067. With top opening numbered sleeve,poster and prints,and one rare divider. All matrix numbers end in a 1,no mention of EMI on labels."Sold in UK....." text,and George Martin credit on labels. Number is 0088273.
Condition- Vinyl......VG,great labels,no writing or stickers, fair few surface marks,odd light scratch,now the strange bit....the second album(sides 3 & 4),sound very good with just a bit of background noise and the odd pop,but the first record has a hissing on it all the way through. I have cleaned it but didn`t seem to make any difference,maybe it needs a really deep clean,but this is reflected in the price. Sleeve...VG++,nice fully laminated numbered embossed gatefold sleeve with great poster and prints and black inners,and one paper divider,small mark in one corner(see photo),and a tiny bit of ring wear. Poster is very good with a bit of creasing,and a bit of wear along the folds.
